Who We Are
AED Management is a professional real estate management service provider with over a fifteen years of real estate management & brokerage experience in the DC area. We provide high quality sale and purchase representation and property management services. We strive to create a new standard in the industry by using innovative systems, cost effective approaches and applied local knowledge specific to the DC area.
Whether you own a one-off rental home, office building, multifamily or a portfolio of investment properties, our staff is prepared to meet the demands of asset management 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our goal is to allow landlords to leave the day-to-day management responsibilities to us and have more time for the things they want. We know what works, what rents and how to get more out of your income property at a competitive rate.
We focus on quality, not quantity and maintain a small portfolio to guarantee high quality service to our clients. We apply an individualized approach to each asset and only accept a handful of select management opportunities to stay focused on our clients needs. In addition to providing property management, our team also offers a variety of other real estate services including consulting, construction project management, corporate rental or office space leasing, vacation rental management and real estate sales & purchases.

Anita DiPietro is a 15-year real estate professional with experience as an appraiser, manager, owner, developer, investor, and broker.
Before starting AED Asset Management, Anita participated in the acquisition, development, management and leasing efforts of a $100+ million residential and commercial real estate portfolio for various real estate investors and developers across the Washington DC and Northern Virginia region. The portfolio contained properties in various asset classes, both residential single family, multifamily, office space and retail.
Anita obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from George Mason University and is a Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM), Certified Property Manager (CPM) and 30 Under 30 Recipient, awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Erika grew up in Maryland and spent the greater part of her career as a CPA in Washington DC. She worked as the Finance Director for a real estate development company and the Senior VP of Finance and Strategy for a well known fitness brand.
She has since started her own business in fitness and recently received her real estate license to begin to create her own real estate portfolio in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In her downtime, Erikaspends time with her mini dachshund, Squat and traveling.

Catherine Franco is a dynamic professional with a multifaceted background in construction, design, and property management, making her a true force leading our management team. With a passion for transforming spaces and a keen eye for detail, Catherine brings a unique blend of expertise to every project. She is a seasoned construction expert renowned for her prowess in build-outs and design.
Catherine is currently pursuing her Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). This prestigious qualification reflects her dedication to mastering the intricacies of property management and staying at the forefront of industry best practices.
